How to Measure
How to Measure
Measuring is simple, and a little extra room is always better than not enough.
1. Measure the Width
Using a tape measure, measure the full width of your wall from edge to edge at its widest point.
Wallpapering multiple walls? Measure each wall separately and add the widths together.
2. Measure the Height
Measure from the floor to the ceiling at the tallest point of the wall.
For the best fit, add 6 inches to both the overall height and width of your measurements. This provides extra material for trimming during installation and helps accommodate walls that may not be perfectly square.
3. Include Doors and Windows
Do not subtract windows, doors, built-ins, or other architectural features from your measurements.
Wallpaper is installed in full panels and trimmed around these elements during installation, so the total wall dimensions should always be used when ordering.
4. Double Check Your Measurements
We recommend measuring twice before placing your order.
Custom murals are produced as a complete image and designed to install in sequence. To ensure proper pattern alignment, all panels within a mural must be ordered at the same height.
